Planet Ö ... cool music for kids !!!
Planet Ö are Sitara Schmitz and Uwe Felski. At the end of January 2016 they released their first children's song CD on Europa / Sony Music. Uwe and Sitara have been working as professional musicians for years, accompanying shows and artists such as Nena (also her children's program), Les Miserables, The official tribute to the Blues Brothers and many more. They have appeared on stages all over Europe in Germany, for example at the Federal Garden Show, Kiel Week, in the Babelsberg Film Park, Circus Krone and many more. Uwe has already toured solo, with guitar and his own songs as support act of Nena through Germany's large concert halls. Sitara received the NRW Youth Culture Award for her musical work with children and young people.
Sitara, Uwe and the Ö Mascot are looking forward to landing their children's program on the stages of this planet in 2016 and invite children and parents to the big Pi-Pa somersault party.
Their songs, which they gave birth to on their debut album "Purzel Lieder", tell small stories that sometimes invite you to smile. There is, for example, “Dr. Sirius Computervirius ”, who sends his little viruses into the world accompanied by electronic beats to spread chaos - or“ Gabriele, princess of the camels ”, which causes the hips to rock with a slightly hysterical charm but an extremely contagious groove.
True to the motto: Aren't we all a bit Ö?
Sitara and Uwe make children's music out of passion. They write and produce their songs themselves and have created a playing field with Planet Ö where they can let their ideas run wild.
